Position Summary   

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for enhancing the company’s value proposition and affecting the total customer service experience by acquiring superior product knowledge and providing services that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. 
  • Receive, process, and verify the accuracy of orders from customers utilizing the organization’s internal CRM/mainframe systems and customer purchase orders. (Dynamic AX, EDI).
  • Initiate required action for response to customer service requests for order changes, including the maintenance of order/customer information files and communicates changes to the appropriate personnel/departments.
  • Ensure and provide quality service to both internal and external customers.
  • Access the company’s internal systems to obtain and extract order information and provide customer service supervisor with the data for inclusion in various reports.
  • Support outside sales team and address issues related to the sales, service, and delivery of our products.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments (Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, & Sales).
  • All other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities                                                   
The Customer Service Representative has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer service focused environment.
Education and/or Experience    
Minimum high school diploma or GED

Computer Skills  
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Dynamics AX experience a plus
