Regulatory Specialist
- Manage all label change and creation processes for products, such as changes from new products, new package sizes, reformulation, new suppliers, new regulatory requirements, and marketing initiatives.
- Manage all Kosher Schedule A and B approval and documentation processes.
- Review and update raw material and ingredient specifications and other documents as needed for food safety risk, regulatory conformity, impact to claims, and supplier/ raw material approval process.
- Create final Nutritional facts panel and ingredient statements for artwork and communications.
- Maintain records of vendor information and raw material specifications using the TraceGains network.
- Act as member of the Supplier Quality Team.
- Perform audits of supplier documentation and manufacturing sites.
- Review and approve regulatory/nutrition components of final packaging artwork, label copy, advertising, website, promotional, and educational materials, press releases, and research concepts for substantiation and compliance.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of specific state and international regulations as they relate to Meiji products for global distribution as needed.
- Provide support to Marketing, Customer Service, Product Development, and Sales on customer product and labeling surveys and associated documentation such as kosher certificates and other claims.
- Provide support to Food Safety & Quality teams on food safety risk assessments, internal & external audits, customer requirements, product change and development, and customer surveys.
- Provide support for customer and supplier complaint management.
- Learn and support Foreign Supplier Verification Program.
